Diversity, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunity 
  1. Medigen prohibits forced labor and any improper employment discrimination, and complies with international standards, international human rights conventions, and labor employment laws at its operating locations to protect all labor rights, including minimum wage, working hours (including overtime), insurance, leave, and pension systems. The company provides equal job opportunities and treatment without differences based on race, color, gender, religion, politics, nationality, or social origin. 
  2. In 2024, the Company had no incidents of discrimination, child labor, forced labor, or other major risks or violations of labor human rights. Medigen values the strength of women—whether as general staff or in managerial positions, women make up more than half of the workforce. In 2024, the Company did not employ foreign nationals, nor did it have employees with disabilities or indigenous employees. 
  3. Medigen's work rules include systems for employees to file complaints on workplace violence and sexual harassment, and have established "Procedures for Handling Reports of Illegal, Unethical, or Dishonest Conduct" to protect employees from physical and mental threats in the work environment.
  4. The revised "Measures for the Prevention, Complaint, and Punishment of Workplace Sexual Harassment" officially took effect in 2024. To ensure all employees understand "Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention" and "Unlawful Workplace Infringement," and to reduce workplace hazards while maintaining a friendly working environment, the Company will organize training and awareness sessions. 
Prohibition of Forced Labor and Child Labor  Medigen prohibits employing child labor under the age of 16. In 2024, there were no incidents of forced labor, child labor, or other major risks or violations of labor human rights. 
Establishing a Safe and Healthy Working Environment  Access Security: 
  1. Implement access control—employees and visitors must pass card-swipe verification at the building elevator and office door to enter. 
  2. After work hours or when working overtime on holidays, the last person leaving the office must close doors and windows, turn off air conditioning and lighting, and set security locks. 
  3. Employees borrowing office access cards must return them after use and may not lend them or office keys to non-employees. 
Disaster Prevention and Response:
  1. Participate annually in the fire drills organized by the Nangang Software Park Phase II Management Committee. 
  2. Equip the office with adequate fire extinguishers. 
  3. Enforce a complete indoor smoking ban in compliance with the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act. 
Hygiene: 
  1. Conduct employee health check-ups. 
  2. Engage professional cleaning services weekly for office cleaning. 
Reasonable Compensation and Working Conditions 
  1. Medigen ensures the statutory minimum wage protection for workers. 
  2. Establish a Compensation Committee to evaluate and supervise the Company's overall remuneration policy. 
  3. Medigen adjusts salaries fairly every year based on salary surveys, macroeconomic indicators, consumer price index, and each employee's performance evaluation, in accordance with salary management rules. In addition to base salary, Medigen offers bonuses and incentive programs, including annual profit distribution approved by the shareholders' meeting and employee stock warrants approved by the board, to attract and retain key talent and motivate employees to achieve company performance goals. This promotes the company's long-term growth while maintaining employees' living standards, achieving mutual benefit.
Harmonious Labor Relations  Medigen highly values labor relations, striving to create a mutually beneficial environment with smooth communication channels. Employees can communicate their issues, suggestions, or rights to management in any form. The Company sets work rules in accordance with the law to regulate labor conditions and protect employees' rights. Additionally, the Employee Welfare Committee implements various welfare measures, and labor-management meetings and internal meetings are held to coordinate and improve administrative measures, ensuring stable and harmonious labor relations with no major disputes. 
Supporting Employees' Physical and Mental Health and Work-Life Balance 
  1. Medigen prioritizes employee health, conducting regular and special health check-ups to prevent potential health risks. 
  2. Medigen complies with the Labor Standards Act and other labor laws, and through the Employee Welfare Committee allocates company welfare funds to plan and provide quality benefits, such as domestic and overseas travel subsidies, birthday gifts, marriage and childbirth subsidies, funeral allowances, health check-up subsidies, and staff gatherings. Additionally, Medigen partners with popular hotels and restaurants to offer employees special corporate discounts. 。
