Hazardous Waste Statistics

As Medigen is not a manufacturing enterprise, defective products, toxic chemicals, and biomedical waste are all stored, handled, or removed in accordance with biomedical waste regulations. Infectious waste is placed in double-layered red bags designated for infectious materials, stored in a dedicated refrigerator at 4°C, placed in plastic containers to prevent leakage, and collected by licensed waste disposal companies. Although the Company’s operations are less likely to generate large volumes of hazardous waste, Medigen still conducts regular statistical tracking and implements management measures such as electronic form approvals, reuse of scrap paper, and resource recycling. In addition, annual waste reduction targets are set to continually minimize environmental impact.
