I. Has the company established a governance organization to promote sustainable development, set up a dedicated or concurrent unit for this purpose, authorized senior management by the Board of Directors to handle related matters, and had the Board supervise the process? The Company’s cross-functional sustainability unit comprises the heads of the CEO Office, Operations Department, Administrative Accounting Department, and Drug Development Department, who serve as the core team driving sustainability initiatives. This team is responsible for proposing and implementing sustainability policies and concrete action plans, leading employees in collectively advancing sustainability efforts. Their work encompasses advocacy campaigns, educational programs, environmental conservation measures, and public welfare activities.

The Board of Directors sets the Company’s sustainability strategies and goals, reviews the effectiveness of their implementation, and publishes progress updates on the Company’s corporate website.
II.Has the company, in accordance with the principle of materiality, assessed the risks of environmental, social, and corporate governance issues related to its operations and formulated relevant risk management policies or strategies? 1.The Company established the “Risk Management Policy and Procedures”, approved by the Board , as the highest guiding principle for risk management. The scope of risk assessment focuses on the Company itself. Risks are assessed annually, and corresponding risk management policies are formulated for each identified risk, covering management objectives, organizational structure, responsibility assignments, and risk management procedures, to effectively identify, measure, and control risks within acceptable limits arising from business activities.
2.The Company integrates material factors of ESG into all departments' responsibilities, assessing and formulating strategies according to the principle of materiality:
(1)Environmental:
As a biotech R&D enterprise operating primarily in laboratories, the Company does not use resources with significant environmental burdens. Efforts are focused on improving resource use efficiency, implementing paper recycling, waste sorting, and introducing an electronic form approval system to reduce environmental pollution.
(2)Social:
The Company emphasizes trademark protection and corporate image, engaging professional law firms for consultation, compliance, and necessary measures. A dedicated person and email address are provided for stakeholders as an effective complaint and communication channel.
(3)Corporate Governance:
Through company meetings, the Company promotes policies and systems to employees, including corporate ethics, codes of ethical conduct, ethical corporate management, and corporate governance best practice principles.
III.Environmental Issues
A.Has the company established an environmental management system suitable for its industry characteristics?
The Company operates in the biotech R&D sector and is not subject to ISO 14001 or similar environmental management certifications. Wastewater, waste, and environmental management related to its operations are handled by dedicated personnel in compliance with Science Park regulations.
B.Does the company strive to improve resource efficiency and use low-impact recycled materials? The Company continues to advocate for energy conservation and environmental protection measures, including paper recycling, waste sorting, and implementing electronic form approval systems.
C.Has the company assessed potential climate change risks and opportunities, and adopted response measures? Due to the nature of its industry, the Company’s energy consumption and carbon emissions are relatively low, posing minimal climate change risks. Response measures include adopting ERP systems, using video conferencing, and encouraging employees to bring reusable utensils.
D.Has the company measured greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and waste in the past two years, and set reduction policies? The Company operates in the biotech R&D sector and does not produce greenhouse gas emissions from production or manufacturing activities. Nevertheless, it periodically measures greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and waste, and establishes reduction policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Company has established a Human Rights Policy to eliminate any acts that violate human rights and to ensure that all members inside and outside the company receive fair and dignified treatment.

Should a supplier be found to have engaged in such behavior, the Company reserves the right to terminate or rescind the contract at any time.
