Adara Bio Pty Ltd (“Adara Bio”), an Australian subsidiary of Medigen BioMedical Group, visited Taiwan in conjunction with Bio Asia–Taiwan 2026. In addition to actively exploring opportunities for collaboration between Adara Bio and Taiwanese Companies, Adara Bio signed a collaboration agreement with TFBS Bioscience Inc., a Taiwan-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), during the event. The agreement marks an important new stage in Adara Bio’s gene therapy research and development.

Established in Australia earlier this year (2026), Adara Bio is a joint venture between Medic Vision AI Limited, Medigen’s Australian subsidiary, and the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA). The company focuses on applying its innovative RNA Base Editing Platform to develop innovative gene therapies for inherited retinal diseases (IRDs).
Building on the foundation of collaboration between Taiwan and Australia, we look forward to accelerating the commercialization of Adara Bio’s gene therapy technologies and bringing hope to patients suffering from vision loss.
