About 500 people were injured in Formosa Water Park explosion in June 27th. Burn patients need to be treated with ointment every day, and severely burned patients should be treated more frequently. The amount of burn ointment required for the treatment is estimated to be at least 20,000 bottles per week. To timely supply this large demand, Winston speeded up the production of burn ointment since the next day of the accident. The production was therefore raised to 300kg per day.
Winston immediately provided 600 bottles of ointment to hospitals on June 28th, and 6,300 bottles of stock ointment (near 30,00kg) were provided for patient treatment continually. Winston will still keep this supply abundant to ensure patient access to burn ointment.
